Therapy For Attachment Disorder

Attachment Disorder

Attachment disorders are a serious condition which can result in  people having a hard time creating and maintaining lasting relationships.  Many times these attachment issues arise from a failure to form normal attachments to primary care giving figures in early childhood.  These attachment issues can carry throughout a child’s adolescent years to adulthood.  Adults that have an attachment disorder sometimes show a complete lack of ability to be genuinely affectionate with others, they also may have other trust issues.  If you are having problems maintaining relationships, seeing a therapist might be the best approach.
